Have you ever been stuck with your kids in an airport for an extended period of time thanks to a long layover or flight delay? Keeping your kids and yourself entertained is essential to avoid succumbing to boredom. You can only watch the same movie over and over so many times. Why not do something a little more active and exploratory instead? A good old fashioned scavenger hunt with a modern tech twist is a great way to get your kids excited about the trip to come and to pass the time.
Give each member of the family a device with a camera – a tablet or point-and-shoot digital camera are both good options – and start your search. Take photos of everything you find on the list. Tally up your points at the end using the digital photos as evidence and declare a family winner.
