Disney's Aulani Resort
Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, is a resort that blends Disney magic with the rest and relaxation of a high-end Hawaii resort. Aulani is located on the island of O'ahu in the Ko Olina area west of the Honolulu Airport and Pearl Harbor - separated but not too distant from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.
Unlike Walt Disney World and Disneyland, there are no theme park rides to be found at Aulani, but there is the same signature Disney service, characters like Mickey and Stitch, and lots for families to do from waterslides to ukulele lessons.
As my husband and I had a toddler at the time Aulani opened in 2011 and already loved visiting Hawaii regularly, we quickly set our sights on paying the resort a visit. Little did we know just how regularly we'd return! We've now taken five separate trips to Disney's Aulani Resort with our children over the years, and have seen the resort evolve as our kids grew from toddlers to teens.
Here is everything you need to know about visiting Aulani on your next trip.
