San Francisco toddler travel happiness.
After 7 years of traveling with kids, I know from first-hand experience that the toughest kid travel years are definitely when you have a toddler. Yes, babies present their own challenges, but toddlers are more mobile, more opinionated, and much louder when things go awry!

Typical toddler travel moment. He’s had it.
To help other parents traveling during these challenging toddler years, I decided it was long overdue to focus a bit more on toddler travel. As I’m getting close to graduating from these challenging years with my now 2.5 year old, I have lots of words of wisdom to pass down.

When family travel is fun, it’s really fun!
I recognize that parents of toddlers don’t have very much free time on their hands, so the quickest way to pass this information along is in short weekly videos. Check in each week for another two minute nugget of information to get you ready for the summer travel season. And be sure to subscribe while you visit.

Hi, Leslie. What about a 1 year old? Most of this stuff is not age appropriate but she's definitely toddler-minded? We're flying to Austria next month and I'm totally nervous. Thanks!

Way to go, Leslie! Sarah and Michael are about to drive from Atlanta to Washington DC for the week, so we've been putting together every idea we can think of for traveling with 3 1/2-year-old Miles and 11-month-old Maisy. Abby told us she had seen your blog and your new YouTube idea. I loved watching this tonight! Good luck with your new venture. (The travel bag is a great idea, and we were thrilled to see that we'd thought of most everything except the Post-It Notes. We're at least on the same wavelength!)
